Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism.
  • Implement evidencebased behavioral interventions and strategies to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians or other staff members.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, teachers, and other professionals, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor progress through data collection and analysis, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client progress, including medical records and behavioral data.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
