Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Create and execute customized treatment plans to support students' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and parents to align speech therapy with educational objectives.
  • Deliver focused therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, adjusting methods based on age and capabilities.
  • Record and track student progress towards set goals.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current state certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
