Job Summary

Assess patients, create treatment plans based on evaluations, provide direct care, document findings, and assist in program development. Also responsible for training staff and ensuring quality patient care.

Job Description Schedule

Saturdays & Sundays, 10-hour shifts

Location

TIRR TMC

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas Physical Therapy license and Basic Life Support certification

Requirements for Physical Therapists with Direct Access

Education: Doctoral degree with residency or fellowship program, or 30 hours of continuing competence activities in differential diagnosis
Licenses/Certifications: Texas Physical Therapy license

Experience / Knowledge / Skills
  • Occasional/frequent lifting and carrying, prolonged standing, walking, stooping, and squatting
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, communication skills, and ability to monitor equipment

  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Manage time efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
