The Project Analyst collaborates directly with client Program Managers (PM) and other Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) team members to support the implementation of the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) priorities. They play a key role in ensuring that all client deliverables meet the required quality standards and deadlines.
- Engaging in project management and financial management activities
- Providing quality assurance and knowledge management support
- Managing partner relationships and acquisition life-cycle support
- Handling new country engagements and various project-related tasks
The Project Analyst's responsibilities revolve around project management, aiding in the execution of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) priorities, and fostering collaboration among government agencies and A&AS teams using the Integrated Project Team (IPT) model.
Key qualifications and skills required for this role include:
- SECRET clearance or higher
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or government acquisition
- Proven track record in building effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management best practices
Additionally, familiarity with Cooperative Threat Reduction, international experience, and relevant certifications are desirable for this role.
The Project Analyst will be involved in providing support for BTRP missions through both project-specific efforts and ongoing operations assistance. This includes managing costs, schedules, and performance metrics, as well as aiding in the planning and execution of various acquisitions.
Responsibilities also entail:
- Advising on linking activities to national strategies and objectives
- Assisting in defining project success factors
- Supporting government counterparts throughout the acquisition lifecycle
- Collaborating with various teams on acquisition documents
The Project Analyst's role further extends to providing strategic advice and guidance to government PMs and assisting in the preparation of reports and materials related to acquisitions and program management reviews.
