Summary:
TheCommodities Quotations Specialist executes organization efforts incentralized quoting for electrical supplies for construction accounts.
Day to day activities is to support and be a liaison between customerservice, Account Managers and Product Management to facilitate qualifiedquote requests and provide a complete quote for our customers.
MinimumRequirements High School Degree is required. 2-5 years' relevantexperience working with electrical products. Previous working experienceworking with Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications Previous workingexperience with FreshDesk. Associate's degree or an equivalent level ofexperience preferred. Previous experience working within vendor portals.Working experience within business systems (Solar highly preferred).Duties & Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with Vendors,Product Management, Pricing, Sales, & Customer Experience.
Executequotation requests as received from Supervisor, Account Managers andCustomer Service Representatives (CSRs). Research and track informationrelated to geographic markets, product lines, and customer base to puttogether competitive quotes for customers. Cross lines from bill ofmaterials, request for quotes (RFQs) to align with strategic vendorpartners. Collaborate with cross-functional departments includingpricing, sales, product management, and customer service to ensureoperational and customer expectations are met.Upon award of order,execute project set-up, including but not limited to securing projectspecial pricing agreements (SPAs) from vendors, compiling price files,working with accounting/pricing departments to set-up ship-to and loadpricing, and transitioning to CSR for order entry/release.
Compilesubmittals, operation and maintenance manuals (O&Ms) and other productdocumentation for customers. All other duties assigned.
