Job Summary:

The National Accounts Manager will have a proven track record of success in managing and growing relationships with key national accounts and have a deep understanding of the orthopedic market. This position will work closely with surgeons, purchasing and hospital staff, sales, and marketing. The National Accounts Manager would work with Executive Management team in developing a strategic road map for getting approvals at key national accounts. The role will drive results in a fast-paced environment by assessing requests for contracts (RFPs) received from our Sales team or customers. He/She will demonstrate technical and scientific expertise for contracts and proposals, including associated costs. This role will interact with multiple divisions within the company. He/She will demonstrate a high level of independence, expertise in all functional and technical competencies of the role. Preference given to local applicants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals for regional and national accounts.


• Manage and grow relationships with key decision-makers at regional and national accounts.


• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.


• Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns for regional and national accounts.


• Management of incoming contracts and RFPs and existing contracts for the company.


• Compilates all required information to create RFP/proposal/contract generation.

Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.


• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service.


• Demonstrate strong management and sales skills.


• Lead surgeon conversions to drive access to accounts.


• Attain sales objectives as defined by corporate senior management.


• Develop written data driven plans for forecasting and targeting regional and national accounts.


• Represent the company in relationships with ASCs, hospitals, IDNs, GPOs and surgeons to ensure that we meet the buying criteria for accounts.


• Manage complex contract negotiations and work with corporate as required to execute contracts.


• Stay current with market trends.


• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in national accounts management in the orthopedic industry.


• Proven track record of success in managing and growing relationships with key regional and national accounts.


• Deep understanding of the orthopedic market and current trends


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong negotiation and closing skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong task management skills, detail-oriented, and able to produce sales reports within defined timelines.


• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Ability to travel up to 20%, as needed.
