This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:
You are an experienced compensation professional with a passion for designing, implementing, and executing "best in class" Compensation Strategies. With a focus on North America, you are also excited about providing input and guidance to our teams in Europe and Asia to ensure alignment to global guidelines while adjusting for local needs. You have an interest and understanding of the retail environment and the nuances of designing and executing compensation structures for various populations, i.e., retail and corporate. You enjoy leveraging benchmark and market data and partner well with other Talent team members to assist with identifying strategies and solutions to business challenges. You are also interested in ensuring the smooth delivery of our mobility program and ensuring that our process is a seamless experience for all involved. You are also an expert in your field and enjoy the opportunity to be a thought partner to senior leadership and to Finance in assessing competitive approaches that meet the needs of a highly diverse and growing team. You're also resourceful and collaborative with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under deadlines. A sense of humor is a plus

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is... atypical. You might be partnering with Talent Leadership to build competitive and practical strategies for compensation and mobility, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure we are taking a "best in class" approach to compensation, updating and maintaining our salary structure across job families in collaboration with Talent Development and Talent Acquisition team members, consulting with our international talent team members to ensure consistent practices, ensuring our systems and processes are aligned with program expectations, overseeing prioritization and execution of compensation and mobility priorities, managing key vendor relationships, working with Chief People Officer and Finance partners on oversight and execution of the executive compensation program design, working with Talent partners on identifying best practices and execution of mobility needs, development and communication, and most importantly, leading our year-end compensation process - ensuring merit and bonus guidelines are followed and implemented and that calculations, reporting, and compensation statements are accurate. The consistent thread is that you'll be working with an amazing team of women and men who share your passion for excellence.

To Land This Role:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 10+ years of compensation experience
  • Retail industry experience supporting headcount of 2,500+ is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience in creating and implementing compensation programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing deadlines
  • Experience with Workday is a plus; however, proven ability to adapt to various technical systems is welcomed
  • Proficient in PowerPoint/Keynote is also a plus
Why You'll Want to Join Our Team:
The Talent Team sits at the epicenter of every important business initiative. As our Founder Tory often says, "Cash is King, but Culture is Queen" Every great Talent professional knows that having a seat at the table is essential for delivering impact. When you join our Talent Team that's a given. Our business leaders rely on our judgment and engage with us as essential thought partners. Whether you're designing a benefits strategy that helps us to support our team members and their families, coaching our leaders through organizational transformations or creating talent acquisition practices that distinguish us in the market - you'll be able to see and feel the impact of your work.
