Ecommerce Demand Planner

Our Client, a Women's high-end contemporary fashion brand is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Demand Planner.
Overview:
The Ecommerce Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting the e-commerce business in collaboration with the digital marketing, site, and planning teams. This position requires strong leadership and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The individual must excel at delving into details while effectively communicating the bigger picture to executives and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reports on key metrics related to site performance, especially concerning demand revenue, shipping forecasts, and returns
- Communicate results and forecasts to the organization, including executives, and offer important business recommendations based on forecasts and insights
- Develop e-commerce demand forecasts by collaborating with digital marketing, site, data, and planning teams to comprehend channel growth, site behaviors, historical demand, and product trends
- Collaborate with the DTC buying/planning team to verify inventory requirements based on channel trends and consumer demand and help optimize inventory efficiency
- Offer insights specific to e-commerce to guide merchandising and product development, as well as creative decisions
- Assist in new product and promotional planning to align marketing, site, and finance forecasts with planning forecasts
- Work with data and CRM teams to integrate crucial customer insights into forecasting capabilities
- Collaborate with planning and logistics to forecast shipments, communicate strategy shifts to all teams, and measure impact
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for online business, align forecasts with finance, and effectively communicate any issues or opportunities
- Participate in the quarterly and annual budget process alongside planning, finance, and marketing teams
- Regularly report on e-commerce business performance and relevant merchandise/inventory KPIs
- Contribute to the seasonal hind sighting process in coordination with planning and merchandising teams
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in merchandise/demand planning
- Data-driven mindset
- Ability to analyze data and present key issues to stakeholders
- Capable of working cross-functionally and independently to solve problems
- Proven analytical skills with a track record of driving business outcomes, and knowledge of merchandising concepts and inventory management
- Strong process and collaboration skills, resourceful, detail-oriented, with multitasking capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
