Job Description
Role:
  • Sr. Financial Analyst role ensuring strong accounting background.
  • Candidates with accounting degrees and experience are highly preferred.

Location: 100% onsite.

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Sr. Financial Analyst will support the Director of Plant Operations Finance in HIM LF's financial reporting.


Responsibilities:
  • Monthly forecasts, financial reports, and internal KPI reporting.
  • Assist in monthly accounting period close.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Analytical responsibilities:
  • Prepare, update, and maintain monthly forecasts and schedules.
  • Responsible for financial review package.
  • Assist in monthly BS/IS preparation and review.
  • Monthly management meetings for budget/forecasts explanations.
  • Ad hoc projects support on financial reporting.
  • Month-end close financial reporting in OneStream.

Fixed Assets responsibilities:
  • Maintain Fixed Asset subsidiary ledger and account reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly fixed asset rollforward reconciliation.
  • Adhere to corporate policy for capitalizing equipment purchases.
  • Lead monthly CapEx status meetings.
  • Ensure Use Tax rate application to assets.
  • Provide management spend updates.
  • Complete annual fixed assets physical count.
  • Fixed asset listing review with department heads.

General responsibilities:
  • Period-close journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Daily Production Report oversight and local KPI preparation.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies.
  • SOX and internal audit compliance.
  • Participate in budget, forecast, and monthly reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Experience:
  • 6+ years accounting and fixed asset experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Corporate and Public Accounting experience.
  • Experience in large multi-national corporations.
  • Strong proficiencies in Oracle.
  • MBA degree or CPA preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly.
  • Manual dexterity required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated office.
