About the Team

About You
We are looking for a highly energetic product professional who is willing to jump into an ever-evolving team and hit the ground running. While our primary roles are well defined (i.e. building new products and enhancing our existing solutions), we are all jumping in to help deliver on exciting strategic business objectives for Mastercard, which means partnering with sales and growth teams to take our products to market at scale and engaging with Operations to ensure the best possible customer experience, to name a few. You are collaborative, accountable, and passionate about being part of a highly valued team. You have a desire to think, define and execute on product and business driven priorities.

About the Role
When consumers are empowered to use their data, it creates a platform for innovation. This is the promise of open banking. The Product Manager has overall responsibility for the product strategy and roadmap. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will bring engineering, user experience design, and best of breed technologies together and play a critical role in leading our product through needs analysis, iterative implementation of solutions, and measuring impact of those solutions as we deliver on our ambitious vision
In the product manager role, you will:

•Define the strategy and roadmap for a particular set of products

•Communicate the product vision within the company, including executive leadership

•Define products and enhancements to products and prioritize features

•Set priorities for product development

•Create user stories and provide clarity on business requirements

•Conduct in-depth competitive analysis and become an expert on competing products and fintech organizations

•Meet with clients to understand their product needs

•Understand the market well enough to create a pricing strategy that meets revenue and profitability goals

•Work with product marketing to create product messaging and collateral

•Brief and train the sales force on products at sales meetings and perform product demos for customers

•Evaluate competitors and the market for capability-oriented and emerging development and technology trends
Qualifications and Skills:

•Experience as a product manager with demonstrated success defining and launching cloud-based software products, preferably in the fintech space

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to large and small groups

•Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, including engineering teams working within an Agile/Scrum framework

•Strong technical background with a working knowledge of at least one server-side programming language; familiarity or experience with API/JSON, HTML/CSS and Javascript is preferred

•Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA) preferred.
