Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $20-$22 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm

Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities

  • The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for performing intake and Rx Setup (facilitating the processing of prescriptions) activities, and functions in accordance with company policies and procedures to assist in the flow of dispensing drugs to the patient.
  • Review contents of referral to ensure complete and accurate information has been received
  • Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient
  • Conduct initial check of prescription to ensure clinical accuracy for processing

Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with data entry experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
