The Role:

We are looking for RNs to work full or part-time during the following hours: Monday to Thursday 5:00 pm to 12:30 am, Friday to Sunday midnight to 8:30 am. This position is non-exempt, with overtime eligibility. Health benefits provided for employees working 30+ hours weekly.

We seek RNs wanting to utilize their expertise to deliver the best care for those with serious illnesses.

By delivering expert, personalized care to hospice patients where they live, you will bring dignity and compassion to those dealing with serious illness symptoms.

Requirements:
  • Current Oregon RN license.
  • Minimum one year recent clinical home health experience as RN. Preferably two years of hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology experience.
  • Prefer certification as Hospice and/or Palliative Care Nurse.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Excellent clinical nursing skills, problem-solving ability, and commitment to learning.

Must be willing to work in various patient settings and possess computer competency.


Responsibilities:
  • Utilize professional skills and training to provide services to patients, families, and caregivers in their homes.
  • Empower family caregivers and guide them through end-of-life decisions.
  • Coordinate hospice patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide professional nursing services to hospice patients following care plans.
  • Perform assessments, develop, and revise care plans as necessary.
  • Manage daily schedule within agency policy and hospice regulations.
