As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will be responsible, under RN supervision, for patient safety, welfare, and the implementation of treatment plans. You will also serve as a patient observer and perform receptionist and clerical duties to support the nursing unit efficiently.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Two (2) years of collegiate coursework in psychology, communication, abnormal psychology, and/or human growth and development (Preferred)


Required Skills
Looking for critical thinking skills, the ability to make decisive judgments, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Handle with Care Certification or CPI within 90 days of hire

One year of healthcare experience preferred.
