Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be in charge of processing inpatient/outpatient claims to third-party payers accurately and promptly. This involves conducting quality control checks on paper claims, handling tracers, denials, and related correspondence, initiating appeals, and drafting appeal letters. Your focus will be on delivering top-notch customer support and ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage a substantial volume of incoming customer service calls in a call-center environment.

Salary Range: $ $36.47 Hourly

Job Qualifications
We're looking for an outstanding, self-directed, customer-centric professional with:

• Two years of medical billing experience in a physicians' office or clinic, especially in surgical divisions and OB-GYN
• Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, managed care, and PPO insurance
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to interpret correspondence, charged documents, EOBs, and insurance forms
• Proficiency in online registration procedures, payor data, financial classes, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of business office functions
• Experience with EPIC is a bonus
