Job SummaryThis position is responsible for supervising employees as well as leading daily operations and coordination of activities for their team.

This role will work closely with management to provide resources, on-going work direction, decision making and problem solving to ensure the safe delivery of quality product on time to the customer (internal and external).

ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce standard work across all areas of responsibilityDrive continuous improvement activities in all functional areasProvide leadership in selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operationsOrganize activities & assign jobs according to the business requirements Work with plant management to assign, direct, review and monitor work to maximize productivity within all areas of responsibilityMotivate and develop employees into an effective and efficient teamEngage in typical supervisory responsibilities with regards to planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegatingEnsure compliance with FIFO inventory managementAssist in the establishment and leadership of the plant's safety objectivesEnsure compliance to all safety policies and proceduresMaintain required certificationsPerform 6S and BBS processes and quality auditsProvide coaching and feedback to team membersEnsure employees are following the JSAs and confront any unsafe acts observedPositively communication changes in business situations (ie:
schedules, policies, etc)

Completes and delivers annual performance and promotion reviewsRequired to serve as a member of the emergency response team with training required in the following:
emergency response, First Aid, CPR, BBP and fir extinguishingPerforms other duties as assignedBasic QualificationsAssociate degree, or equivalent experience requiredA minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the integrated functions of manufacturing preferredMust be a flexible, decisive and proactive problem solverMust be able to work well in high pressure, fast-paced environmentMust be a strong communicatorMust possess a strong customer service orientation and must provide dedicated support of internal customer requirementsMust possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at onceMust be proficient at conflict resolutionMust have solid interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate employees to interact positively with various departments throughout the organizationMust be resourceful, can find solutions to unusual problems and meet customer needsMust have good understanding of material flow in a manufacturing environment Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Fully onsite basedKey CompetenciesAbsolute KEY skills needed for role
