$58,086.00/yr minimum - $87, /yr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsibilities:
Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring cost effective acquisition of products, services, and equipment.

Job Roles

Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other

documents as required.

Process Improvement

o

Promotes a culture of process improvement by participating in unit/department based programs that supports the systems process improvement goals.

Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams as needed.

Role Specific Responsibilities

o

Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.

o Evaluate current contracting processes, identify gaps, and develop strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the ERP framework.

o Manage contract lifecycle activities from initiation to renewal or termination, including contract drafting, review, execution, and documentation. Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, resolve disputes or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

o Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, transparency, and mutual benefit.

o Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation, negotiation strategies, and risk management.

o Conduct training sessions for staff members to promote understanding and utilization of the ERP system and contracting processes.

o Provide regular progress updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.

o Actively research and coordinate with all users to determine requirements and find savings.

o Ensure all contracts and agreements are reviewed by legal. Maintain and manage all Supply Chain Contracts in iContracts.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Supply Chain or related

field preferred.

Technical Experience: 2 years in supply chain, purchasing or related field required
