WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Collect blood specimens and ensure their proper handling.
- Perform various administrative tasks within the laboratory setting.
- Process laboratory specimens efficiently and accurately.
- Engage in duties such as patient registration, data entry, and paperwork processing.
- Prepare specimens for testing or shipping to other facilities.
- Conduct specific authorized tests according to guidelines.
- Be prepared to drive and participate in on-call schedules when necessary.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE SEEKING
- Completion of High School or equivalent GED.
- Prior experience or training in phlebotomy is a must.
- Preferably a background in medical laboratory work and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Flexibility to commute to different locations as needed.
