This role is a crucial partnership within the organization that involves interacting with colleagues, business stakeholders, national IT partners, and teams across the Federal Reserve System and/or the US Treasury.This position primarily supports the Collections Information Repository (CIR) program. CIR serves as a web-based reporting platform that provides federal agencies with insights on deposits and collections, consolidating financial transaction details from various collection and settlement systems into a unified data repository.Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and contribute to implementing best practices standards in application development, testing, and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and executives to identify opportunities for business solutions aligning with their strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through servant leadership.
  • Develop project and resource plans while supporting the creation of strategic blueprints.
  • Propose technical solutions to address business requirements.
  • Advocate for innovation, ownership, diversity inclusion, and continuous learning.
  • Manage projects with moderate complexity and oversee staff members' performance and development.
  • Engage in Bank or System work groups to drive technology initiatives forward.
  • Ensure team performance metrics and project deliverables meet deadlines, scope, and budget requirements.
  • Uphold compliance and security standards in project deliverables while promoting a culture that embraces best practices for quality and security.
  • Offer consultation on IT matters for the Bank, System, and Department of Treasury.
  • Administer and manage budgeting operations.
Education and Experience:
  • IT Manager I: Bachelor's Degree, with 5+ years of diverse professional work experience, including potential supervisory duties.
  • IT Manager II: Bachelor's Degree, with 7+ years of diverse professional work experience, including 3+ years of supervisory roles.
Requisite Knowledge and Skills:
  • Prior work experience should encompass specialized technical skills within various information technology domains, such as application development, data warehousing, analytics, AI/ML, DevOps, cloud technologies, infrastructure support, technical testing, and quality assurance.
  • Proficient in Agile software development methodologies.
  • Capable of adapting communication styles for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Possess strong business acumen, critical thinking abilities, and analytical skills.
  • Experienced in coaching and developing individuals, including formal growth plans and objective setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to influence outcomes beyond direct supervision.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Employees generally spend most of their workday seated, utilizing computers, and handling phone calls. Occasional movement includes walking to attend meetings or breaks. The job may entail lifting items weighing about 20 pounds infrequently.
