We are currently seeking a
General Superintendent with EXPERIENCE.
This is a full-time local position.

The
General Superintendent's responsibilities include the following:

  • Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship in compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Controlling job site expenditures for labor, equipment, material, services and ensures field operations are within budget
  • Maintaining respectful and productive relationships with the client and their representatives.
  • Identifying legitimate change order situations and coordinating with the Project Manager in the development of the change order proposal.
  • Ensuring all company employees, subcontractors and suppliers adhere to B.R.W., Client and OSHA safety standards and policies
  • Conducting regular site inspections to assure that all inspection procedures and building code requirements are met
  • Communicating with the President to discuss job progress and resource requirements

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 15+ years of progressive site construction experience with 10+ years as a superintendent
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of computer software including MS Office
  • Capable of managing multiple projects between $0.5M $25M simultaneously
  • Displays tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with welldeveloped interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personnel.
  • Physical demands require the ability to endure occasional physical activity, work long days and handle outdoor elements including a variety of weather conditions.
