A Human Resources Coordinator position in Fife, Washington is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. Strong candidates will have an HR administrative background.

Primary responsibilities include managing payroll process, administering attendance program, providing customer service support to team members, maintaining personnel files, maintaining HRIS, leading team member engagement activities, and leading orientation.

This role supports 225+ team members across three manufacturing facilities. The hourly compensation range is $ $34.00, depending on experience.

Human Resources Coordinator job responsibilities include:

Provide customer service support to team members on HR related topics.
Process bi-weekly payroll by auditing and ensuring accuracy of team member hours. This includes ensuring supervisors are reviewing and auditing their team members' timecards on a daily basis.
Manage time and attendance to ensure consistent application of Attendance Policy.
Prepare disciplinary actions for attendance issues.
Maintain team member personnel files and ensure documentation is complete.
Maintain team member data through UKG HRIS.
Facilitate new hire orientation and prepare all related documentation.

Coordinate various team member engagement activities including luncheons, plant meetings, MITER Foundation events, Milgard Swag Program, team member surveys, and Employee of the Month Program.

Create and maintain all plant communications.
Manage LOA process by assisting team members in application process and tracking leave status.
Support safety initiatives by managing injury and prevention program (DORN).
Support annual performance appraisal process for hourly workforce.

Partner with TA team for the onboarding of new hires, participating in staffing meetings, creating job postings, and attending career fairs as needed.

Support benefit related activities related to annual open enrollment and annual wellness screenings.
Sit in front desk reception area to greet and assist visitors to the facility.
Reflect MITER Brands and Milgard Quality Pillars in all interactions.
Other office administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1 year of administrative human resource support in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education to substitute for experience.
1 year of payroll and timekeeping strongly preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll time keeping software in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft office programs
Excellent communication skills with a high degree of customer service
