Responsibilities:

Communicate directly with clients regarding tax returns and other tax related issues

Display skill, judgement, initiative, and attention to detail and independently handle multiple assignments
Manage and Mentor staff accountants and senior accountants
Mange and facilitate IRS and state tax audits
Suggest innovative solutions for process improvement using best practices

Requirements
BS or BA in Accounting required
Currently active CPA license required
6 to 10 years of prior experience in preparing business and individual returns in a public accounting firm
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel knowledge
QuickBooks experience in desktop and online versions preferred
Proficiency in tax preparation software; Prosystem FX Tax experience preferred
