Join our dynamic team at Neuro Telemetry (5NNB), a 32-bed unit catering to neurosurgical and neurological cases. Working in conjunction with the esteemed Barrow Neurological Institute, this unit deals with intricate cases like traumatic brain injuries, spinal conditions, brain tumors, and strokes. As a Neurology Nurse, you'll not only deliver superior care but also benefit from extensive training opportunities and active participation in interdisciplinary teams. The Neuro Telemetry environment fosters both personal and professional advancement, offering unique prospects for continuous learning and career enrichment.
Your role will involve conducting neurological assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and overseeing external ventricular drains and other procedures. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes nurses, physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals, you'll collectively ensure optimal patient outcomes amidst challenging scenarios.
