Job Title: Guest Services Host at Carneros Resort and Spa


The Host plays a crucial role in ensuring guests are promptly seated and receive top-notch service throughout their dining experience. Additionally, they assist in processing guest payments. Responsibilities:
  • Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Adhere to all hotel standards and regulations to uphold safe and efficient operations.
  • Seat guests promptly and attend to their needs during dining.
  • Assist cashier in handling transactions and preparing reports.
  • Ensure menus are clean and presentable.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as per checklist.
  • Answer phone calls professionally.
  • Stay up-to-date with service standards and menu offerings.
  • Handle guests' needs effectively and courteously.
  • Follow state liquor laws.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Assist in other tasks as assigned by management.
