White Springs Senior Living of Warrenton is currently seeking individuals to join as Direct Care Aides (DCA), crucial members of our team who assist residents in maintaining a good quality of life in a nurturing environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with various daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Engage with residents during meal times and activities, creating a pleasant environment.
- Respond promptly to any resident emergencies and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care as per regulations.
- Support housekeeping tasks to keep living spaces clean and orderly.
- Help with laundry duties when required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Display a friendly and positive demeanor in all interactions.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to guidelines.
- Present oneself professionally and follow dress code requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Previous experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service settings preferred.
- Certification as a Direct Care Aide (DCA) is advantageous.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid are necessary.
- Ability to work well in a team and provide quality senior care.
