Join our team as an Assembler LG 7 where you will be responsible for assembling production mechanical and electrical units, as well as associated assemblies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on identifying and making nameplates based on engineering drawings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical assemblies following job instruction sheets, diagrams, drawings, and spec sheets.
- Assemble mechanical parts related to actuators, solenoids, coils, proximity switches, and fields.
- Perform soldering of assemblies.
- Work under supervision to assemble complete units, ensuring safety measures like wiring.
- Operate light machines, presses, and name plate marking equipment.
Job Specifications:
- Must have manual dexterity and be able to follow assembly instructions precisely.
- Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- High level of accuracy and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer service driven and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional conduct at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, vocational training, mechanical aptitude, or a combination of these.
Work Environment:
The Assembler LG 7 role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to fifty (50) pounds, and candidates should have specific vision abilities such as close vision and color vision. Safety equipment like safety glasses, shop coat/apron, and proper shoes are necessary.
Materials & Equipment:
Materials worked on include parts and components from various metals and electrical wires, while tools used involve general hand tools associated with assembly. Equipment utilized includes voltage and resistance equipment, presses, and name plate marking equipment.
Additional Information:
Management may adjust work assignments based on business needs, and accommodations can be made as needed. The compensation for this position ranges from $29.45/hr. to $31.58/hr., subject to various factors.
