Part-Time evenings 3pm to 9pm

Summary Description:

Support the Assisted Living Director in ensuring the highest standard of health and wellness needs of residents are met through person-centered care.

Provide residents with top-notch care using clinical judgment and communication with medical providers.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform job functions aligning with The Loomis Communities' mission and goals.
  • Awareness, respect, and attention to diversity in interactions with residents, personnel, families, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a health and wellness resource, offering nursing assessment, advice, and consultation while upholding residents' privacy and dignity.
  • Maintain residents' health information and up-to-date medical records.
  • Practice within nursing license scope, facility policies, and regulations with critical thinking and person-centered care.

Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • Current Massachusetts Nursing License

Required Experience:

  • 2 years in Physicians office, Ambulatory Care Center, or Adult Medicine Practice.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of three years in marketing and clinical understanding.

License(s):

  • Current Massachusetts Nursing License; CPR certification

Skills/Competencies:

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Deal with problems in complex situations.
  • Read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Relate well to residents and handle emergency situations.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills effectively.
  • Respectfully interact with personnel, residents, family members, and the public.
