Job Title: Electrician (FDIC)

Job Summary:EMCOR Government Services is seeking anElectrician in Arlington, VAThis position is a covered by the CBA for Local 26,Electricians perform tasks that support the electrical infrastructure for FDIC buildings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install raceways and associated wires.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical support to engineering staff.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Replace/repair outdated electrical devices.
  • Perform electrical portion of build outs
  • Work with Chief engineers at both locations
Qualifications:
  • Must be a Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in the field
  • Must be able to work a schedule of Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
Physical Demands:
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Bending, squatting, kneeling
  • Work in unconditioned spaces as well as outside
