Job Title: Electrician (FDIC)
Job Summary:EMCOR Government Services is seeking anElectrician in Arlington, VAThis position is a covered by the CBA for Local 26,Electricians perform tasks that support the electrical infrastructure for FDIC buildings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install raceways and associated wires.
- Maintain and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
- Provide technical support to engineering staff.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Replace/repair outdated electrical devices.
- Perform electrical portion of build outs
- Work with Chief engineers at both locations
- Must be a Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in the field
- Must be able to work a schedule of Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Bending, squatting, kneeling
- Work in unconditioned spaces as well as outside
