Diagnostic Radiologist - Women's Imaging

Our client is a leading healthcare provider in Naples, FL, dedicated to offering comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with a focus on women's health. Their state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest imaging technology to provide high-quality care. They are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Radiologist with a specialization in Women's Imaging to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Fellowship-Trained Radiologist specializing in Women's Imaging, you will play a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, providing expert diagnostic imaging services with a focus on mammography. You will be responsible for interpreting mammograms, ultrasound, and CT scans, with the majority of cases being mammography. Additionally, you will apply your general radiology skills to outpatient X-ray, ultrasound (U.S.), and CT (C.T.) studies to support our comprehensive diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and report on diagnostic imaging studies, with a primary focus on mammography, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
  • Provide general radiology services, including outpatient X-ray, ultrasound, and CT studies.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate diagnoses and support treatment planning, particularly in the area of women's health.
  • Participate in patient consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss diagnostic findings and treatment plans.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in radiology and women's imaging to continually improve patient care.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, protocol development, and improvement processes within the radiology department.
  • Engage in educational and mentoring activities, supporting the professional development of radiology residents and staff.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Radiology.
  • Completed fellowship in Women's Imaging or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure.
  • Strong expertise in mammography and general radiology modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, and CT.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
