Job Title: Bloomingdale's Gift Registry Concierge

Job Overview

As a Bloomingdale's Gift Registry Concierge, your main focus is to provide a personalized and tailored experience to customers creating gift registries. Whether assisting in-store or online, your aim is to be a product and service expert, understanding customer needs, guiding them through building their registry, and offering support throughout the process. Becoming well-versed in the merchandise, particularly in the Home Department, you will use your knowledge to assist registrants and gift donors, while also nurturing lasting client relationships.

Essential Functions

  • Engage and welcome customers to the Gift Registry Department
  • Deliver a personalized experience by understanding customer needs and preferences
  • Become a product expert, especially in the Home Department, and confidently provide style advice
  • Focus on building customer loyalty and relationships through maintaining a client book
  • Promote and enroll customers in loyalty programs
  • Create a comfortable and trustworthy environment for customers online and in-store
  • Act as a link between registrants and the full merchandise assortment
  • Handle customer inquiries from various online platforms
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and adopting new procedures
  • Utilize technology to enhance the customer experience and registry value
  • Regularly meet with Supervisor to discuss goals and strategies
  • Achieve or exceed registry and business targets
