Join Our Team as a Warehouse Assistant/Driver

A locally owned commercial HVAC manufacturer's representative based in San Antonio, TX is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join their team.

  • Assist in shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
  • Read and process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
  • Efficiently move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated locations.
  • Organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins based on specific criteria like size, type, color, or product code.
  • Operate a forklift and drive a 16ft delivery truck around the San Antonio area to deliver goods to businesses and job sites.
  • Assemble and organize customer orders for shipping or pickup.
  • Accurately process daily sales transactions in the computer system.
  • Handle credit cards, cash, and checks for COD customers with precision.
  • Collaborate with sales departments to address orders and resolve issues effectively.
  • Participate in facilities maintenance tasks when required.
  • Prepare packages for shipping or mailing and assist in inventory counting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and work areas.
  • Wear appropriate safety gear and ensure warehouse safety for all personnel and visitors.
  • Adhere to the company's business ethics policy and foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
