About the role:

  • Operate MRI scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images of patients
  • Guide patients through the MRI process with kindness and professionalism
  • Work full-time or part-time, Monday to Friday with weekend rotations (no call)
  • Willing to provide training in MRI

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screens patients for exam precautions
  • Explains MRI procedures to patients
  • Performs MRI scans with minimal supervision
  • Adjusts scan parameters and maintains patient records
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Supports MRI department and completes assigned tasks
  • Assists with maintaining imaging protocol manual and supply inventory
  • Provides training to new associates

Required:

  • ARRT registered technologist
  • Graduate of AMA approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training and experience in MRI procedures

Preferred:

  • Certification in imaging specialty
  • Bilingual
