Job Duties:


Must be able to read and write to the extent of understanding warning labels on equipment being used, and street signs and numbers

May be required to perform other duties as instructed by supervisory staff

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Knowledge of appropriate methods of lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds on a routine basis

Knowledge of pulling, and/or pushing heavy items up to 130 pounds

Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

Bending, kneeling, stretching, pulling and pushing equivalent of 130 pounds, pounding, stooping, climbing, squatting, sitting, standing, running, walking, crawling and sometimes depending on the job assignment, some of the above may be for long periods of time; will also need to get in and out of the truck several times a day

Must wear proper safety gear and equipment suitable to job being performed

Must attend required safety training for duties performed

A physical tailored to this job description must be passed by applicant

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Illinois Class B CDL license with airbrake endorsement
