Job Title: Housekeeper (Full-Time)

Location: Poipu, HI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $20 - $22 per hour

Job Highlights:
  • Perform daily cleaning duties on assigned rooms
  • Work variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Clean rooms by stripping dirty linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and counters, replenishing linen and guest amenities, and moving furniture
  • Complete all tasks within allotted time frames
  • Greet guests and respond to requests promptly
  • Maintain knowledge of resort services, activities, and local attractions
  • Report deficiencies to ensure room compliance with resort standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and standards
  • Maintain key control protocol
  • Keep carts and equipment in a neat and orderly appearance
  • Secure all department assets and supplies neatly in storage areas
  • Assist management in maintaining accurate inventory of linen and supplies
  • Promptly turn in all lost and found items
  • Assist co-workers and perform other work assignments as requested
Qualifications:
  • Experience in cleaning homes, offices, or hotels
  • Ability to work in varied environments (humidity, cold/heat, dust, noise)
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull carts over 200lbs
  • Effective communication with guests in English
