About the Position


Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional
guitar instructor to teach part-time at
Grace Music School, in Syosset, Woodbury, Nassau County, NY. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday availability is preferred.


Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.


Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-36/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.

We have nearly 50 music teachers who have either conservatory or music school training and most have professional performance experience.
