The Role: Reporting to the Regional Manager, Patient Access, the Supervisor of Patient Access oversees the daily operations of the Patient Access team. This includes implementing policies, ensuring quality standards, and measuring the team's performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and guidance to team members
  • Manage team staffing, coaching, accountability, reviews, and performance improvement
  • Adjust staffing to meet program needs, assign referrals, and delegate tasks
  • Assist with workload tasks such as benefit verification and patient calls
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues
  • Participate in sourcing, interviews, hiring, and onboarding
  • Facilitate communications within the department
  • Analyze referral trends and product solutions
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and committees
  • Complete required tasks, projects, and reports as directed
  • Handle managerial responsibilities including hiring, training, and performance management

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Eastern

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of home infusion pharmacy experience
  • 3 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care guidelines
  • Prior healthcare management experience
  • Familiarity with medical and pharmacy benefits
  • Ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules
  • Effective prioritization in a dynamic environment
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
