RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Arlington, VA that is seeking a Vice President of Sales that will develop, qualify, and sell AI software products and services, and maintain sales relationships across the national security sector of the U.S. Federal Government. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from creating leads to closing deals
  • Personally source, shape, and properly qualify new business opportunities
  • Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract close for multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Develop, maintain, and execute against account plans for national security clients and prospects
  • Present business solutions at the executive level and evangelize throughout the Federal/national security marketplace
  • Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate technology and solutions to prospects and clients
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years experience in meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment, personally closing large and complex deals
  • Must be onsite 5 days a week (outside of traveling), everyone at the company is on site 5 days a week
  • Up to 50% travel domestically to client sites (all travel expenses covered)
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Desired Skills:
  • AI/software sales preferred
  • Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment
  • Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes (particularly budgeting, acquisition, and procurement processes)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
