At Sally's Apizza we have been creating New Haven Style Apizza since 1938 and are now expanding to locations across the United States. Famous for our distinctive tomato sauce and chewy, crispy crust with an iconic oven-kissed char, Sally's draws pizza fans from around the world. As the Prep Cook you will....
  • Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.
  • Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking.
  • Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
  • Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
  • Ensure that all food and other items are stores properly.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area in all areas of the prep kitchen.

ROLE COMPETENCIES FOR PREP COOKS

Language
  • English
  • Basic Spanish (preferred but not required)
Experience
  • Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs
  • Good time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
  • Must be available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
