Position Overview: Joining Soliant as a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist means playing a crucial role in supporting students' speech and language development. You will collaborate closely with educators and parents, conducting assessments, making diagnoses, and providing intervention services for students with communication disorders. This role provides a special chance to contribute to the academic achievements of our students while fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
- Create and execute personalized treatment plans to address speech and language objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Work together with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to establish a united support system for students.
- Participate in crafting and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language requirements.
- Track and record student progress, making adjustments to interventions when needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children and understanding of special education procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
