Job Description:
Your role as a Team Leader, Back Office, Gas & Power Trading IT involves:
  • Supervising a team of 6-10 individuals, overseeing their time reports, absences, and holidays
  • Ensuring appropriate staffing according to Trading IT guidelines, utilizing both internal and contract resources
  • Planning and reporting team activities, managing the backlog, and prioritizing tasks based on IT and business requirements
  • Acting as a third line support for system issues within the designated scope, striving to resolve incidents as per service level agreements
  • Coordinating configuration and change requests from business stakeholders
  • Providing management-level reporting on backlog and support tickets
  • Participating in cross-team projects and collaborating with other IT teams
  • Enforcing governance and standards, including project approvals and quality assurance
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Staying informed about relevant market and technology developments
DIMENSIONS

In this position, you will oversee a delivery team responsible for managing systems used in gas and power trading, particularly in the Back Office (Trading Support) realm. Your responsibilities will include system confirmation, clearing, invoicing, and reconciliation modules, as well as collaborating with other delivery teams for system integration and operational activities.

Context & Environment:
TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading (TGP) is rapidly expanding to support the company's shift towards power generation and the acquisition of various energy assets. This growth leads to increased trading volumes, broader geographical reach, and the need for process automation, impacting IT requirements significantly. The gas trading business is also expanding, adding additional demands on IT resources.

PURPOSE

Your role involves recommending and making decisions regarding the design, implementation, and management of solutions for the Back Office of gas and power trading on a global scale. You will ensure alignment with relevant teams and supervise a delivery team closely connected to the business and Back Office operations.
