Job Title: Entry Level Sheet Metal Helper


This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn from experienced professionals in the Sheet Metal industry. You will be assisting Journeymen and other Shop Employees with various tasks to build your skills and knowledge.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Sort out materials, layout, assemble, and perform entry-level sealing tasks.
  • Support installation crews by operating the winch on the duct lift and assisting with other entry-level duties.
  • Complete any other assigned duties up to an Apprentice level of expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • GED or High School diploma preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Safety Awareness:

B & I prioritizes safety for all employees. This role may require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for certain tasks. It is essential for the incumbent to have and use the necessary safety equipment while on duty.


Physical Requirements:

Must have good vision (with or without correction).
Must have clear verbal communication skills.
Requires full use of hands, fingers, arms, and legs; ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, reach, push, pull, lift, and stoop.
Capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
