About the Role: As a Seasonal Physical Therapist, you'll be at the forefront of implementing physician's orders for physical therapy services. Your mission? To guide our patients towards reclaiming their independence and leading safe, fulfilling lifestyles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, incorporating functional tests and social factors to determine personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize critical thinking to assess patient needs and develop short and long-term goals for therapy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in documentation within our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team to provide seamless care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
  • Embrace physically demanding tasks, ensuring the safety and comfort of both yourself and your patients.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy and apply them effectively in your practice.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a four-year bachelor's degree-approved Physical Therapy Program.
  • Valid permanent license as a Physical Therapist from the Mississippi State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time acute care experience OR 2 years of skilled nursing/inpatient rehab facility experience OR 2 years of acute care experience (if part-time).
  • Completion of 2 hours of CVA-specific continuing education within the last 4 months.
