Global Quantitative Summer Analyst Program Overview:

The Global Quantitative Summer Analyst Program serves as a stepping stone to the Global Quantitative Analytics Development Program, aimed at nurturing and guiding analytical and quantitative talent for placement within various divisions of Bank of America. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in risk management practices. Your growth is prioritized, with continuous support, mentorship, and engaging events throughout the program. Some highlights include:

Tasks and Responsibilities:

During the 10-week Quantitative Analytics internships, you will collaborate on diverse assignments utilizing your programming and data analysis skills to comprehend the decision-making processes of the bank. Your primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assessing emerging risk scenarios and analyzing credit risk situations
  • Conducting quantitative modeling for various purposes
  • Providing detailed research on risk management at both micro and macro levels
  • Evaluating market trends and offering quantitative insights
  • Addressing specific financial challenges using quantitative techniques
  • Building solutions with a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Establishing connections with key stakeholders and risk executives

Internship Opportunities:

The Global Quantitative Summer Analyst Program places interns in teams across Bank of America, supporting different business units such as:

  • Global Risk Analytics
  • Corporate Treasury
  • Enterprise Credit Risk
  • Data, Digital & Global Marketing
  • Model Risk Management
  • Global Markets & Financial Risk
  • Enterprise Independent Testing

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate or masters degree with an expected graduation between November 2025 and August 2026
  • Preferably a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Common fields of study include Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Operations Research, Statistics, and other STEM majors
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and a drive for excellence
  • Proficiency in leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Advanced programming abilities in languages such as Python, SQL, R, and/or C++
  • Masters candidates should have less than 2 years of work experience
