Job Summary:

Belton Regional Medical Center is searching for a full-time Emergency Medicine Medical Director to become part of our prestigious practice located in Belton, Missouri.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Quality candidates must be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine and have previous or current director experience.
  • Clinical experience in high-volume, urban facility with high-acuity patients
  • Understands importance and impact of Patient Experience (P/X) on patients, physicians, APP s, and hospital administration
  • Understands specifics of CMS requirements (e.g. sepsis, STEMI, CHF, pneumonia, 30-day readmissions) and importance of same

Facility Information:
Belton Regional Medical Center is an accomplished hospital within the HCA Midwest Health System in the Kansas City area. It is a 71-bed acute care facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital underwent a $39.2 million-dollar renovation and expansion project from to keep up with the expanding needs of the community. Belton Regional is a certified designated Level III Trauma Center. It received the Joint Commission's "Top Performer" award for all of Kansas City in 2011 and Top Performer on Key Quality Measures in 2014. Belton has also been recognized for its participation in the Joint Commission Stroke Center Certification Program.
