Shift Details: Days

Job Description:

Performs echo and non-invasive vascular studies; provides appropriate documentation, patient education, and billing functions for inpatient and outpatient studies.

Roles and Responsibilities:


•Performs diagnostic non-invasive vascular, echocardiographic or diagnostic ultrasound testing.


•Communicates patient findings to reading physician.


•Provides input into development of department policies, QA, equipment selection, etc.


•Provides patient education regarding studies.


•Cleans and maintains equipment and monitors equipment performance.

Qualification/Experience:


•Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasound or program in Radiologic Technology


•2 or more years of related experience required

License/Certifications:


•Registration in Ultrasound (ARDMS, RVT, RDCS) or subspecialty area


•BLS required

Additional offerings include:


•A sign-on award of $10,000 for a 3-year commitment to the Facility
