The Sr.

Technical Manager (D365 / Power Platform) will be responsible for developing and deploying solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating, and coordinating applications within and across the enterprise.

The role will partner with the Director, management peers, and enterprise architect on technical research and innovation within the infrastructure.

The position involves setting standards for processes, policies, and procedures related to Microsoft technologies, particularly D365 and Power Platform. The role encompasses oversight of key business and technology initiatives, as well as hiring, training, and leading developers.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development

Essential Functions:

  • Hires, develops, evaluates, and influences effective and consistent productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS)
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Contributes to and executes the overall IT strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Leads the creation and evolution of the enterprise function/program, balancing enterprise business, information, technical data, and solution architectures
  • Collaborates with business and technology experts to translate business requirements into technological solutions
  • Leads continuous improvement initiatives for D365 and Power Platform
  • Directs the analysis, design, development, and support of application platforms as part of the broader application landscape
  • Continuously reviews technology needs related to applications supporting evolving business needs
  • Collaborates effectively with key stakeholders to design, deliver, and implement enhancements and provide strategic direction on new and existing applications
  • Refines overall application performance, identify performance improvement opportunities, and optimize the application landscape
  • Oversees day-to-day team activities and ensure adherence to enterprise standards in project execution, technical delivery, and standards compliance
  • Mentors junior to mid-level team members, ensuring technical excellence and growth
  • Participates in testing activities of transaction systems, reporting, and integration
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Drives innovation by creating/identifying re-usable components, tools, and accelerators
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards

  • Experience with managing complex implementations
  • Significant hands-on experience developing IT solutions using D365 and Power Platform
  • Experience in Microsoft technology platforms, including SharePoint and .NET
  • Evaluates out-of-the-box options or design patterns that require minimal customization
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good technical foundation, including structured programming (.

NET)Effective Communication:

Ability to review and spot issues within metrics and dataEducation and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Eight years of experience in D365 / Power Platform, with at least five years of experience leading development teams required
  • Experience in D365 and Power Platform required
  • Experience implementing D365 at large scale required
  • Experience in the industrial sector preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:
