The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting client and contractor needs and business.

*Policy Handbook changes
*Job Descriptions
*Onboarding/Offboarding
*Leave of Absence
*Recruiting
*HR Compliance (e.g. Labor Law Posters, State/Local Rules, State Leave Laws, Covid rules, etc.)
*Performance Management Process
*Paylocity Entry & Reporting (Paylocity experience preferred, but not required)
*Other HR duties as assigned

Required Credentials

Education: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience. PHR or SPHR designation preferred.

Experience:3-5 Years relevant general HR experience.

Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of employment law, federal and state labor regulations health and welfare plans, defined benefit plans. Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines. Tact, above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers.

Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of human resource administration software, email, record keeping, routine database activity, Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Paylocity experience strongly preferred.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain Excel, Word, and Google documents.
• Minimum of (6) months experience in a customer service role, preferably a role that involved continuous phone use
• Comfortable providing detailed directions over the phone
• Demonstrate outstanding verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
