ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Associate Director of Finance Controller, you will play a vital role in coordinating, consolidating, and managing Nestle Health Science's US business planning and forecasting procedures. This includes tasks such as handling the Dynamic Forecast, Operating Plan, Period End Closing, and delivering Leadership Team presentations. Moreover, you will support the integration or divestment of businesses within our portfolio, ensuring compliance processes are robust and functioning effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee and manage the planning and forecasting processes for Nestle Health Science US
- Lead the budgeting cycle for all NHS US cost centers
- Enhance transparency and optimize structural costs
- Analyze and communicate monthly financial reports to local and global management
- Coordinate financial planning and conduct necessary compliance processes
- Act as the primary contact for all accounting-related matters
- Manage a team of two direct reports
The incumbent of this role will need to collaborate with various individuals and groups to ensure successful product and service delivery:
- Function Heads for Each Department
- Global Management Team
- NHS US BEO
- Colleagues from Medical Nutrition & Consumer Care
- Finance Team Members
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA is a plus
- Possess 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and reporting
- Prior experience in finance within the Consumer Goods/F&B or Pharmaceutical Industry is advantageous
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Experience as a Business Co-pilot
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent people management abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills
- Proficient in utilizing software such as Access and PowerPoint
- Proven capability to convey financial information to non-financial individuals
- Adept at navigating a dynamic matrix environment and securing support across all organizational levels
