Job Overview:
The Hematology Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientist, technicians, and laboratory assistants, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of hematology tests and results,

Qualifications:

Required:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in science
• 2-5 years of direct experience in the field of clinical laboratory of an acute care hospital
• HTL-ASCP or equivalent as per CLIA

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• Evening Shift

Essential Functions:

• Ability to monitor turnaround time, maintain quality control, investigate and resolve QA issues or discrepancies,
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs,
• Perform validation study and analyses as needed by reviewing and verifying test results ensuring accuracy and precision,
• Maintain accurate records or test results, quality control and laboratory procedures,
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements,
• Implement best practices to enhance laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies CAP, CLIA, DOHNJ, and TJC
