Job Summary:
Looking for a talented, intelligent, passionate and driven Social Media to join our team.

Under general direction and supervision of the VP of Marketing, he/she will be responsible for managing the social platforms and all marketing pieces.

The club is looking for someone with industry experience in managing social media marketing programs, driving revenue via ticket sales, sponsorship and merchandise sales, and increasing the size of social audiences across platforms.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, creative idea generator anda marketing and soccer enthusiast. He/she must be comfortable working outside of traditional business hours for games and events.

Reports to:
VP of Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing programs across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, and more)
  • Drive revenue and meet partnership obligations via social media platforms (ticket sales, merchandise sales and sponsorship);
  • Manage day-to-day communications across social media channels utilizing team/brand voice;
  • Create and manage social media content calendars;
  • Work with multiple departments to support the brand and varied timely initiatives on social media;
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports and analytics on all social media platforms;
  • Identify and interpret social media trends for brand benefit
Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree (a related field is preferred); and
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in social media/marketing (sports/entertainment/brand experience preferred)
  • Must be extremely familiar with social media platforms
  • Must be familiar with social reporting tools- specifically, the ability to pull reports, analyze data, and leverage the information to drive subsequent campaigns
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with video and creative software (e.g. Photoshop/Illustrator) is preferred
  • Must possess a maniacal attention to detail
  • Must have with the ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives

Must have strong communication skills:
must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills

  • Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption;
  • Must have good decision-making skills, demonstrate sound judgment and interpersonal skills;
  • Must have the ability to maintain an appropriate professional appearance;
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use utmost discretion when privy to sensitive information;
  • Must have truly outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while also flourishing in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
  • Must be flexible & a reliable team player, both within own department and within the company as a whole
