Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brewer to join our team. The Brewer will be responsible for overseeing the brewing process, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. Full training will be provided.

  • No experience needed. Home or professional brewing experience preferred.
  • Must be interested in learning all aspects of production in a small brewery.
  • A desire to clean anything and everything.
  • Strong work ethic and be able to work within a team AND independently with a great attitude
  • Desire to learn and willingness to contribute where needed.

Typical physical requirements will apply, including:

  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to lift 55 pound grain bags, 44 pound hop boxes, maneuver full kegs
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircase and/or ladder repeatedly throughout shift and stoop in close quarters
  • Ability to be frequently exposed to wet conditions and work in extreme cold and heat
  • Frequently exposed to strong and sometimes disagreeable odors. Will work with chemicals
  • Ability to work in a moderate noise level and in a fast paced environment

Duties:

  • Operate brewing equipment to produce highquality beverages
  • Monitor fermentation processes and adjust variables as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the brewing area
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the brewing process
  • Package finished products for distribution
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in product quality
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Ability to fabricate or repair equipment as needed
